Mr. Wang Hanqing, born in October 1963 at Yiyang CityŁ¬Hunan Province. He has a diploma of doctor, an academic title of professor as well as a supervisor for Ph.D. student. Prof. Wang is an academic leader of the specialty of Building Environment and Equipment Engineering of Hunan University of Technology; the commissary of the Second National Board of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Education; Vice-Chairman of? Editorial Board of national planned Higher Education teaching material on Building Environment and Equipment Engineering in 21 Century; Vice-Chairman of Organic Heating Technology Committee of Industrial Boiler Branch of China Mechanical Engineering Society, the member of Hunan Association of HVAC Engineers; the member of the second National Board of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineering Education; President of Zhuzhou Association of Refrigeration; and awarded by the State Department as the Governmental Special Allowance Expert since 1993.

Dr. Wang finished his postgraduate study in Hunan University in 1986 and stayed there to teach. In 1990 he was transferred to Central South Institute of Technology, where he had worked as a director of specialty education group and the director of department. In 1997 he was appointed as President Assistant of Central South Institute of Technology; in 1998, as Vice-president of Central South Institute of Technology; in 2000, he became the vice-president of the University of South China; and then transferred to Zhuzhou Institute of Technology as the general secretary of the CCP committee in 2003. Now he is president and vice-secretary of the CCP committee of Hunan University of Technology.

Since 1986, Prof. Wang has been engaged in the research of computer simulation on the indoor air quality and energy-saving technologies of building environment and equipment. At the same time, he has taken the teaching and guidance works for the undergraduate students and graduate students on Building Environment and Services Engineering. He published more than 100 papers in Chinese core journals, such as ˇ°Acta Aerodynamica Sinicaˇ±, "Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning" and in the domestic and international conferences. Among them, 13 were included in SCI, EI, ISTP indices. He also published three monographs: ˇ°Numerical Computation and Model Test of Indoor Airˇ±, ˇ°Computer-Aided Design of Architectural Engineeringˇ± and ˇ°English for Building Environment and Services Engineerˇ±; and a ˇ°the 11th Five-Year plannedˇ± national teaching material: ˇ°Ventilation Engineeringˇ±.

For the past fifteen years, he has presided and participated fourteen scientific research projects on national, provincial or ministerial levels respectively, including three projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one project by the Distinguished Young Scholars Foundation of Hunan Province; two projects by the key Research Foundation of Hunan Province Science and Technology Department; three projects by Hunan Provincial Natural Science Foundation; two key projects by Research Foundation of Education Bureau of Hunan Province; and three projects by the Research Foundation of China Mechanical Department, Nuclear Industry Department. He has obtained four times the second award of ministerial Science and Technology Progress, two times the third award of ministerial Science and Technology Progress; and one time the second award of provincial Science and Technology Progress. He has obtained four items of utility model patents. In 1993 , he was appraised the advanced technology workers of China National Nuclear Corporation; in 2001 he won the title of the Youth Science and Technology and outstanding young and middle-aged experts award of Hunan Province.

Professor Wang Hanqing is excellent in teaching and well-received by students. The graduation design he guided has been highly appraised by the State Education Commission of Undergraduate Education Evaluation Group and had been considered as reaching outstanding design standards in the domestic key universities.
